Product information "3D/Z-Probe Connector for Stepcraft machines"
The 3D-Probe/Z-Probe Connector for Stepcraft machines makes it easy to connect our 3D-Probe and Z-Probe probes to the Stepcraft D-, M- and Q-series machines. The connection is made via the screw terminals on the adapter and the cable supplied with the probe. The connections on the adapter are labeled.
The adapter can be connected directly to the 15-pin connector for accessories on the Stepcraft machine.
There is another 15-pin Sub-D socket on the adapter to which the accessories of the Stepcraft machine can be connected.
When used with the Stepcraft accessories plasma, laser and touch probe P100, the probe must be unplugged; simultaneous use of these three accessory components with our probes is not possible.
Simultaneous operation of our 3D-Probe with a tool length probe on the audio/jack connector of the Stepcraft machine is also possible.
If your Stepcraft machine has a housing, you will also need a 15-pin Sub-D extension cable male/female version for connection.
The adapter and all necessary fastening screws are included in the scope of delivery.
The Stepcraft CNC machine shown, the 3D probe and Z-probe as well as the connection cable are not included in the scope of delivery of this item.
