The EA160802 digital input/output card is the ideal supplement for all industrial positioning and CNC controllers. The double axes board was developed to synchronously control two drive units for one axis direction. With two drives for one axis direction, special care must be taken during the reference run and the necessary alignment of the gantry. The double axes board evaluates a separate reference switch for each drive and aligns the gantry exactly again after the reference run.The board has been specially designed to be plugged in between the CNC control and the CNC electronics of the machine. The signals that are not required are connected through between the LPT input and the LPT output. Due to the many configuration options and the detailed description, the corresponding inputs and outputs on the board can be assigned to the corresponding free input and output pins as desired.
