Our software WinPC-NC Light is delivered together with a small external USB adapter, called nc100. Due to this adapter the computer does not require any LPT printer port and hardware controlling is made by an USB cable which is included on delivery. Thus, WinPC-NC Light is also usable with modern computers, notebooks and netbooks and runs on a 32bit or a 64bit operating system without causing any trouble.
The additional adapter nc100, however, is equipped with a LPT compatible interface for machine connection.
Motor control is made by the USB adapter and thus it is largely independent of Windows and the running background processes and programs. Stepping rates can be generated up to 20kHz with interpolated movements.
WinPC-NC Light can be used on any actually available Windows operating system as there are no restrictions or limits concerning technical requirements.
Customers who are using WinPC-NC Light with LPT control and without USB hardware can optionally acquire an inexpensive upgrade.

The PWM-5V/10V board is designed to convert a 5V PWM signal into an analogue 0-5V or 0-10V signal. The conversion is linear. The analogue signal is needed, for example, to control the frequency converters of speed-controlled spindles or the power electronics of engraving lasers. Due to the many configuration options, the board is also suitable for other projects where a PWM signal has to be converted into a pure analogue signal.The operating status of the board is symbolised by two LEDs. The board is specially designed to be plugged between the CNC control and the CNC electronics of the machine. Most signals, such as clock and direction signals, are connected through from the LPT input to the LPT output. However, the PWM signal can also be connected through one of the connectors.The PWM-5V/10V board is offered without a housing. A DIN rail bracket is optionally available.
