The Step3S is available both individually and in a robust desktop housing.
- Up to 3 axes controllable, with Step1S expansion card up to 4 axes
- Phase current adjustable from 1A to 3A in 0.25A steps for each axis
- Step resolution adjustable in full, half, quarter, eighth and 1/16 steps or 1/2.5 to 1/10 step with sinusoidal microstep for each axis
- Stepper motors can be connected unipolar and bipolar
- AC or DC operation without external stabilisation, e.g. with toroidal transformer (12-30VAC or 15-42VDC)
- Current reduction at standstill controllable via software input
- Ready switch or EMERGENCY STOP goes directly to Enable of the output stages, e.g. for connection of a safety housing
- Connection terminal for 5 limit and/or reference switches or other signals
- 3 relay outputs (230V-capable) e.g. for drilling spindle and coolant pump, collet chuck/molette
